Lorna is an esteemed Canadian poet, recognized for her vivid and insightful writing that often explores human relationships, the natural world, and the intricacies of language and perception.

A native of Swift Current, Saskatchewan who now calls Vancouver Island home, her work forms a significant part of Canada’s literary landscape. She has authored over twenty-five books and received numerous accolades, including the Governor General’s Award.
